Telecom Voice uses reserved telephone numbers. Buying or reserving a toll-free number and using it for calls does not verify it for outbound SMS. An eligible number can be shared by Voice and SMS. Review the SMS registration guide for number-specific toll-free verification and the separate Brand, Campaign, and sender-enrollment requirements for US local numbers. Releasing a shared number affects both uses. Detailed Voice configuration documentation is WIP.
